The basketball star Grayson Allen has been suspended indefinitely by Duke

One day after basketball star Grayson Allen was caught tripping an opponent, the coach Mike Krzyzewski announced that he suspended Allen indefinitely from the team Thursday .
At least this is the 3rd such incident in his college career.

Allen was guarding Elon's Steven Santa Ana late in the first half of Duke's 72–61 victory on Wednesday. Santa Ana drove past him on the baseline and Allen stuck out his right leg, which sent Santa Ana to the floor.

Thursday morning Krzyzewski said that he's not quite sure how long the suspension will be.and he called Allen’s actions “unacceptable and inexcusable” in the statement. He described them similarly in the immediate aftermath of the game, but at that time declined to publicly reveal any other measures or reprimands.

Grayson had an emotional breakdown on the bench and was crying during the postgame interviews , he said after the game:"I made a really bad play, I'm sorry to him, Santa Ana,"  "I'm sorry to the officials who had to call that. I'm sorry to my team. It was selfish and taking away from them. I'm not proud of that at all."

Allen, a preseason All-American selection, is averaging 16 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Blue Devils this season.and he was the CBS Sports Preseason National Player of the Year.

Duke’s next game will be against Virginia Tech on December 31st.
