Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba strike to leave Jose Mourinho's side 13 points off the top of the table ,after once again threatening to drop points from a winning position.

The Swede struggled for form throughout October as he went six games without a goal but after striking twice to help guide United to a 3-1 victory at Swansea, Ibrahimovic has once since re-established himself as the side’s leading man,he has scored 14 goals in 24 games since signing for Man Utd.

United, who bossed the proceedings for large chunks of the contest, took the lead when Ibrahimovic appeared to use his arm as he touched a free kick into Pogba's path. The Frenchman also looked to be in an offside position as he fired home.

Marcos Rojo was fortunate not to be sent off after bringing down Wilfried Zaha with a two-footed tackle

Jose Mourinho's Manchester United reign has certainly had its problems but his team are starting to hit something resembling decent form. They haven't lost a domestic fixture since October and have won three of their last four matches in all competitions.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have been under-performing this season and it looked for a while as though Alan Pardew might be facing the sack. A 3-0 win over Southampton saved him, though, and that was followed by a hard-fought point away to Hull. Today's task is considerably harder, but .Palace will still be desperately hoping to get something out of the game

Although the 35-year-old  has compensated for the likes of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Wayne Rooney, all who have failed to deliver in recent weeks, Mourinho has expressed his concern
that United have become too reliant on the former Barcelona striker.
Indeed, Ibrahimovic has managed seven goals in his last seven games, taking his total tally to 13 this campaign
